Herring in Sour Cream

Herring, soaked in brine |
Soak herring in cold water in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Change the water several times during this period. Fillet herring and cut into bit sized pieces. Combine the remaining ingredients, add the herring pieces and mix lightly. Place in a glass jar or bowl and cover. Store the herring in sour cream in the refrigerator for about 12 hours before serving. |
